PPE
PPE protects you from the residual risks that remain after controls are in place—it’s the last line of defence, not a shortcut. Wear the right kit for the task: safety boots with ankle support, hard hat, hi-vis, and task-specific eye, hand, hearing, and respiratory protection as required by the RAMS. Keep PPE clean, serviceable, and correctly fitted; replace damaged items immediately and report defects to your supervisor before restarting work.
