

Toolbox Talks are to be given at a minimum of one TBT per week and copies of attendance sheets are to be retained in the site Health and Safety file and a copy uploaded into your project Teams folder.
The supervisor/manager should give the Toolbox Talk.
It should be kept brief and to the point.
Get the message across that the reason for the Toolbox Talk is not because of retribution
for doing something wrong, but because you want them to be informed as to the way we
expect the task to be carried out, so as to minimise the risk both to themselves and others.
Make the Toolbox Talk specific to the task(s) being undertaken on the site.
Try and get them involved and make the Toolbox Talk a two-way tool of communication.
The blank toolbox attendance sheet has room for any constructive comments or issues that
are raised during the session.
